2nd Positive Pregnancy Test

Yesterday we had a second pregnancy test to confirm that I am really pregnant. The results were great @ 535, which is again a little above average. I am still wondering how many babies I am carrying....I called Phil at work to give him the results, and he said, "So this is for real, you are really pregnant?" I said, "yea babe, this isn't a joke so we better start getting ready." It definitely hasn't really sunk in yet, and words can't describe how ecstatic we are!

I called my parents to give them the updated good news, and Phil called his parents. Our parents are so excited! I think my mom and dad called me almost every 30 minutes or so to give me tips & ideas :) I told my mom that I needed to start shopping for maternity clothes & she said very excitedly, "I'll buy you some maternity clothes!" When Phil talked to his mom, he asked what she was up to & she said, "staring at baby clothes, trying to resist buying them. :) Our families have been waiting so long for a new baby to be born, because the youngest grandchild on my family's side is almost nine, and the youngest grandchild on Phil's family's side is 17. It is so exciting that Phil and I are finally able to bring a new baby into the families.

As far as how I am feeling.... Physically I am feeling tired & taking naps during the day when I can. I occasionally have a little cramping in my lower abdomen, and a slight uneasy stomach. No real nausea yet but I ordered some preggie pops, as recommended by a friend, to have for if/when the nausea comes. I have been doing Acupuncture 1-2 times a week to make my pregnancy stronger & it can also help with morning sickness, energy, nausea & all sorts of other discomforts that come along with pregnancy.....Mentally, my head is swimming with things we need to do and buy before the baby comes. I know that Phil's head is swimming with a whole different set of things he wants to accomplish before the baby is born.

For all those parents out there, please feel free to post comments on suggestions, ideas, must haves, best items to buy, places to shop, best prices for things, or anything else to help us prepare for our little blessing/blessings. :-)
